Well, as a die-hard QuadraFuzz user, I'd say Trash is the closest you'll get. Prehdatom is very cool, but I don't find it as warm-sounding as Quadrafuzz; it's more "amp"-like. Trash is pretty amazing if you got the bones for it.
Did you try that Multiband Bitcrusher? I got some good results with that.

Actually, I just tried this and it kicked ass on acoustic drums! It's a keeper. The Chase wrote:why? it works flawlessly, just like widerbug.ttoz wrote:i dont do betas that havent been updated in a year, but thanks anyways!

ok heres what i dont get. I can't get a particularly noisy or trashy sound from trash. I havent had time to read my manual -- when you select an overdrive sound, how do you boost it? I turn up the drive and it doesnt really crank it in the way I want-- how do you do it?yemski wrote:Multiband bitcrusher and Predatohm are very cool tools. Tridirt and Izotope Trash have the edge for me though. Trash in particular stands out from the crowd, I use it on guitars and basses a lot. It's also a wicked sound design tool.
