I could test on a: Celeron M 1.5ghz laptop or an Athlon 2800+ PC, only got energyXT as a host for VSTi's/Vst's, but im sure i could test with minihost etc too.

Hi,
My entry for the contest is entering the last fase of the build. I need to set midiCC, make presets and need to replace the temp. GUI for the final GUI.
Parameter change has been set for all controls, so most new hosts like FL6 and Cubase SX3 can automate almost everything. Old hosts would probebly require MidiCC.
After that i would like to make use of some betatesters.
I'm especially looking for ppl using hosts other then FL or cubase.
The only thing they need to do is to check if the plugin works correct, and if automation works correctly.
I think the plugin will be ready for testing around the end of this month.. so there is about 15 days to check for bugs, and add more presets..before it needs to be submitted.

My entry is almost done, so I could use a couple more beta testers at this point. It's Windows VST only at this point; dunno if I'll be able to port to Mac.
I think Cubase and FL are the two biggest hosts where it has not been tested at all, so if you have either of those so much the better.

in a couple of days we'll begin our beta phase and we'd need some testers on Windows, to test our baby in several hosts.
what you would have to do:
install the plug-in
play with it inside your host
make some presets [save them, and see if your hosts is able to reload them] - you may then post us your presets if you like as well
check for possible bugs
and report your findings

You know, honestly I don't think as many people are watching this comp as there probably could be. I could be totally wrong, as I have no statistics or whatnot to remotely back what I'm thinking, but yeah I mean there just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of buzz from where I've seen.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
But yeah also, don't count on getting a bunch of beta testers. I love mine to death the ones that I got to test for me, but you pretty much are lucky to get many folks interested. All the more reason to cherish them I suppose.

You could try posting in 'everything else' or the 'developer' section. Might even be worth making a sticky in the developer forum with a list of people who have beta tested before/are willing to test and a short list of the software they own.
