That's freaking tripped out.
Who's Ishkur?
You've got a weird wiggle worm in you today, eh?
I especially like the wood block sounding thing 8)
For some reason it makes me want to sing like Iron Maiden over it, though.

It's not usual for me to comment after only one listen but I saw you're pulling a Rodney King on the esoterica post so I thought I'd divert your attention with this.

I glad I didn't post what I was going to post there now.

That's an enjoyable track to listen to Herodotus :) , a bit 'spy action movie theme' ish

Best regards,

Thanks....but...'pulling a Rodney King'?.

You say so many strange things that it is hard to know the context sometimes.

But my life has been delightfully free of police brutality, criminal misbehavior, and most of those sorts of sordid things for some time now.

But then, I live on the cool side of the river.

Oh, and 'Ishkur' has a guide to electronic dance music, quite funny and informative.

I was saying he should update his site to include my new genre of Bulgarian Goat Trance.

Thanks for listening!

Haven't investigated further, but I'm going to guess it means pulling a "why can't we all just get along?"

Downloading now, be back later.

Indeed. Not the getting beat down part - I'm sure he would have prefered not pass that up. I mean the "let's all be friends" part.

Oh, and bump.

Well....not quite serious.

I have been trying out new ideas for a new band, which will feature sequenced parts mixed with live percussion, guitar atmospheres, and synth-tweaking.

This is an early effort, groping to find my way to a new way of working.

Thanks for the bump.

Yes, I have that bad habit.

I guess it is because I am such a jerk in real life.

Whereas snooky is really a member of the Peace Corps.

Can hear the hasty trance feeling.
But where are the goats?
And the bulgarians?

Liked it though! :)

The key rhythm of this thing is played by the cymbal sounds (actually samples of a gong) and has the metrical pattern: 2+2+2+3 which is common in bulgarian folk dance.

Bartoks 'Mikrokosmos' has quite a few Dances in 'bulgarian rhythm' which also feature other patterns (e.g. 2+2+3).

The 'goat' part is sort of a reference to nuffinks "Goat Tarnce".

But mostly I was being silly.

Thanks for listening
