I'm recording my bass into a delta 1010 card. I'm monitoring the sound which is exactly what I want but when I play it back through cubase, it's about 1/4 the volume.
Maybe I'm monitoring the card input as well as the cubase input at the same time and only hearing back the cubase output but I'd give anything to playback what I'm hearing my phones
SX-3 playback volume lower than record

Tracks in Cubase have individual faders, and there is a master fader also.

Yes - and those faders don't affect input level only monitoring and playback levels. If everything is at unity it should be similar volume in and out. If you have direct monitoring switched on you are actually listening to your soundcard's input rather than Cubase's output.BertKoor wrote:Tracks in Cubase have individual faders, and there is a master fader also.

Thanks for the input guys. Your right egbert, I'm also listening to the soundcard but it sounded so good,I wanted to keep that sound. Oh well, guess I'll have to improve the sound in other ways.
