Why not just use a frequency splitter and then use whatever distortion you want after it on each? Hell, you could use three different distortion plugs if you wanted to that way..

I can't get a particularly noisy or trashy sound from trash. I havent had time to read my manual -- when you select an overdrive sound, how do you boost it? I turn up the drive and it doesnt really crank it in the way I want-- how do you do it?

what kind of drums do you like quadrafuzz on?ttoz wrote:buggy as hell but nice sound.
thanks for the suggestions everyone, my main priority is drums...is trash good for that? quadra was insane for drumz!
personally i find in multiband operation it screws up drum transients, making them sound phase warped and 'broken'. this maybe just a multiband trait from the crossovers i dislike on my drums as oppose to quadrafuzz though.
predatohm is great for drums, compared to quadrafuzz you have far more modes and a dynamics processor pre-distortion, which enables you to saturate a sound whilst still keeping some punch. also oversampling, although it applies a fixed low pass type cut too, which can be anoying.
really looking forward to ohmicide. if the new gain compensation works well that will be an awesome workflow improvement too.
