Hello fans and Genesis lovers!

Seen Mel Gibson in "Forever Young"?
Well this one is about lingering in a quite remote time zone, in a world of your own.
Thus being lured into the real world can be a very shocking experience,
especially if you are of an innocent nature and unaware of what has happened with the content of some words!

We kind of feel this has a bit of "Selling England" to it, only with a frescher approach! Some hints towards R&B can also be spotted.

Oh, it doesn't take me many nanoseconds to click a new link from S&B!

I didn't get the forever young reference, in fact that whole first sentence was lost on me, but the song is excellent, as always. Is there a reason you're not letting me download it? Are you getting near to completing the CD? :hyper:

I'm listening as I type, so I've just got general comments - cool drums, unusually good singing, even for you! Great mellotron strings... Nothing but praise from me on this one. Another great genesissy tune from you guys.

Thanks!

Like your other songs that I've heard, it sounds satisfyingly like Genesis without being Genesis. I think it'll go together well with your other stuff. Is there a CD coming? If so you've got one sold here.

I'll have to agree that I have no idea what you're talking about but people with good taste seem to think it's good but...

we're talking Peter Gabriel-Genesis and not Phil Collins-Gensis, right? Because those are very different things.

Oh my, yes.

A genre that while it was booming totaly passed me by (I was a dance-head) and not something I'd buy or would listen to oft.

But this is a treat to the ears; thanks for sharing

Listen to all the S&B stuff.. they do both eras :) Marmaduke is Gabriel, ReHacksis is roughly 77-79 period, Farm is early 80's.. they do it all so well too!

You guys are GREAT!!! I just upgraded my DVD player which now plays MP3's and I just happened to have a couple of songs I downloaded back in the days you first started coming here.
I burned Welcome to the Farm and Marmaduke and we have been listening to them every weekend.
My wife has been going around the house singing the chorus "welcome to the farm"..LOL and Marmaduke is pure joy to my ears.
It's great to hear these on the big stereo instead of my crappy computer speakers even tho I dl'd them to lofi. The mix is awesome, sounds like it was done in a big studio somewhere.

I can't wait until you get a cd ready for sale, put me down as one who will be standing in line to purchase it once it's released.

Thanks for some great music.

Great tune...masterfully crafted. Nothing really bad to say about it but why are you trying to sound like Genesis?

Hovmod, hehe the story isn't about remaining young, it's
merely a metaphore for not having being out much and keeping up with time. Such as realizing a new meaning for certain words, expressions and etc. Very glad you enjoy the music.

Thanks!

Runagate, it's totally up to yourself what you hear in our music. We feel the 70's era of Genesis, whether it's Peter or Phil singing has basically more of a solid identity than what happened with the band from 1980 and onwards. I think there are
some underlying "Selling England" references to this new track that we've done, more Peter than Phil, although I don't have as thick texture to my voice I think! :)

Thanks for listening, we sure as hell appreciate it.
