Been very fond of using the 'helper/volume' effect in Logic to automate volume curves whilst keeping the main volume control free for overall level.

Does anyone know of an ultra simple VST I can achieve the same purpose with in CubaseSX?

Thanks!

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2194.html This is a fader, goes up to 0 dB
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2188.html This one is more like the 'Volume' or 'gainer' plugin of Logic.
If you want more options to invert phase and so on: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1128.html but it is not 'ultra simple'

Brilliant, thanks a lot! ... Shame he didn't combine the Fader and the Gain into one plug!!

Why is something like this not included in Cubase? Is there some other way of doing this I am missing?

Why dont you route the channel to a group present?

you could also just use the output gain on something like the 'Q' eq plug in sx.

The fader works just great. Seems kinda wierd to HAVe to do this tho - surely there should be some way to get the fader to just raise/lower the whole volume automation curve -instead of having to use a seperate plugin!...
