KVR site and forum search didn't turn these up so I thought I'd share them with my Mac friends. Pluggo plugins that I can't use on my PC and I'm very, very jealous!
They sound like a lot of fun:

jk plugs

FluidsynthHEX - Sound Font synth big version.

FluidsynthZERO - Sound Font synth .

Satoo - multiband saturation .

Autofreq - a kind of auto filter .

Skyes - a spectral filter .

Autowash - auto-wah circuit .

Philter just 4 band filter .

Limofive is a 5 band limiter-distortion .

Analizator is a 50 band, selectable range frequency display..

Tuna is a guitar tuner..

Piczer is a crazy pitch change-distortion plug

Ddram1 is a drum sample player. 12 pads, velocity, pan, reverse, pitch, sample region selection. screenshot NEW: pitchbend and LP filter added.

Luppo1 is a RTAS looper, slicer, pitch change, tempo delay plugin. Load a loop, change tempo+pitch and trig it with MIDI notes.

Peakme is a large RTAS peak meter with phase probe and scope. . NEW: MS decoding, mono monitoring, phase invert and more...

Limo is a limiter plug with auto makeup gain. NEW! saving parameters.

So I guess the obvious question for us is, then, what enables pluggo plugs to be used on a PC? I've got a few pluggo VSTs for PC but I've no idea why some work only on Mac.

I guess it depends on the OS the developer used to make them...

I don't own max/msp but I don't ever recall seing something like max/synthedit/synthmaker that can export AUs like the aforementioned kicks out VSTs.

I didn't know you were a Mac guy, mr. beck. I've got a good friend who is on the Mac/Live tip and I'm slowly trying to learn Mac stuff to get him more plug-ins and for that matter I almost forgot to start asking around why he has so much latency on his inputs but I know exactly nothing about Core Audio. I have verified with him that he's got his Live latency set low.

I have both Mac and PC audio stuff, but my PC has been non-functional for awhile, so my Powerbook took over as my main audio machine. I wish I had an immediate answer about the Live latency, but to be honest, I've never had a latency problem (yet!). There is a utility in OSX called Audio MIDI Setup in the Applications/Utility folder. Start that up and see if the driver is set to a weird setting there. Good place to start anyway. Other than that, maybe a driver reinstall or update for the audio interface? I had to uninstall/resinstall an M-Audio driver once after I updated my operating system, for instance.

I've had the jk pluggos for some time, some very useful, others keep getting ignored by Tracktion and can't be used by me. I haven't tried Burnt Toast yet, time is at a premium these days.
