Johan Rucker, the drummer featured in Dangerous Bear Undergorund's Dangerous Grooves loop library has aquired 2 new kits for sampling as loops and drum samples.

One is a 5-peice Ludwig Rocker. 12, 13 and 16 inch toms, 14x6 inch snare and 22 inch bass drum. It dates from the late 70's or 80's.

The other is a 70's Premier. This is a 3-peice, 12 and 13 inch toms, with a 22 inch kick, all 8-ply.

A set of 14 inch Sabian hi-hat cymbals and a 15 inch Sabian pang are the new cymbal offerings.

In addition to the 6 snares already in the can, there are 3 more snares in the pipeline, which, in the actual output in different libraries, will be mixed and matched with these kits as well as the Pearls already released.

The first of the new snares to be developed for release is a Brady 12x6. The others, for which delivery will be soon, are a Yamaha and a 14 inch Pearl piccolo.

New percussion includes wind chimes, go-go bells, triangles in two different sizes, ice bell and a set of bongos, 8 and 10 inches.

"When I see them, I get them" said Mr Rucker. Trust him, he means it. These new precussion instuments will be included in new dBu releases in diverse formats over the next several months.

"Enjoy"- Johan Rucker

"Buy, early and often"- John Gibson

While I assume that these samples are fine for what they are, they should not be confused with Dangerous Beats by The Control Centre. While we have no product of that name, Dangerous Beats is the name of the ongoing sampling and loop mangling project featuring Dangerous Orange. I sincerely wish the developer and purchasers of these samples well, but point this out to avoid any possible confusion ...

:P just messing with ya john
