And the number of the counting shall be three.

Could you elaborate on the Making Waves metronome comment,, there is a Metronome Options menu. The only wish I could see would be separate audio out.

FL Studio has a metronome thats easy to work with - click one button, or Ctrl+M, and its on. Recording countdown will automatically play the metronome.

I think Sonar is even better though. You can set it so that the metronome plays automagically during recording, and not otherwise.

automagically, thats a cool word.
BTW, arke, the reason i did the AHHHH cubase thing as my sig is cause someone muted me for me saying i thought cubase was bloated. I thought this position was ignorant, and went on to mock him -- we have made up, but anyway, just so you know, i was being sarcastic ;)

I don't think it is badly implemented. I like the way, the click is handled in PT. Especially the routing possibilites.

Check your audition settings (that extra meter in the mixer) - that happened to me at one point as well, although I can't 100% remember how I got it working again. It's easy, though.

My click disappeared in Cubase at one point as well, I seem to recall just restarting the program having fixed it.

FLStudio has one, but it can be drowned out so easily it may as well not. Here's another kicker...if you add effects to the master, they are also applied to the metronome. :dog:

so ...I dont apply much fx on the master until I've reached a point passed the need for a click track anyhow...I don't see much of a need for it once I have the drums laid down...the fact that I rarely us FL for anything but sequencing and mixing diminishes my need for it as well.

However on those times you do want to apply effects to everything and use a click track just send everything else through a bus before the master
