I need a very simple , but good, pitch shifter VST, that would allow me to set the pitch up or down in ocatves and also cents. Any sugestions ?

I was using a Sound Blaster Audigy soundcard that used to have a pitch shifter embedded in it.s hardware which i was using to apply a pitch shift of -40 cents to the voice while also maintaining the original sound to obtain a nice grainy vocal effect, but now i have changed my soundcard to a M-AUdio which doesn.t feature the hardware effects so , i.m looking for a VST solution. Thx in advance.

A developer called braindoc has s decent pitchshifter, simply called 'pitchshifter' (strangely enough).
I'm afraid I don't have a url, but i'm sure it can be google or found on one of the various sites that catalogues free vst plugins.

Not a VST, but a DX-pitch shifter:PitchWorks DX

Yeah, PitchShifter works really well. I can send you the dll if you can't find it anywhere.
I try to care and understand.

I am not sure if this is what you want, but it made my guitar sound like a bass. It is called PVTRANSP. It is part of a bundle of VSTs.
