audio priority

i changed my audio priority from high to very high, using cubase sx3 and now cubase doesn't work, it just freezes up every time i try to do something, i don't know what to do. It won't let me change it back. I have uninstalled the software and re-installed the soft ware several times and nothing works?

i installed it on a friends pc, and it works fine

maybe try uninstalling then deleting everything in the registry about Cubase?
