hah, i made like three of these and never released them, thought nobody would want something like that.... it's gone now. poo. use ring and fm mod, and modulate the oscs with an lfo, for am, modulate the noise strength for fm. hah. oh well. back on the road tomorrow. peace.

Which makes me wonder- AudioMulch's RingAM does ring modulation and amplitude modulation, but is there an effect that does frequency modulation?

Square-o-matic will try to create square waves from other waves. It works best on sond that are symmetrical. That is, the upper halve (above zero) of the wave is similar to the lower halve (below zero).

The envelope follower detects the current amplitude, the attack is instantanious and the release is controlled by the Falloff knob.

what you oughta do is buy one of those little devices for using your portable cd player in your car... the little things that put out a little fm signal so you can pick it up on your car radio. just feed it what you wanna record then record it from a real radio on a different channel.

damn that's a good idea. make sure you use an old 1980s radio that was dial based. also make sure you pick a station that's near the portugese community radio station as well as the easy rock station for some neat mixing to start your album off

yeah, dial radios are great. i used to run one through a volume pedal and delay. turning the pedal on and off real quick while adjusting the frequency gives some cool sounds... echoing whistles, beeps, parts of words... hmm... i should give that a shot again.
