hi to all.

does anybody know how i can set an individual looplenght (starting the pianoroll -loop earlier than exactly at the end of timemarker 2 or 3 etc.) when in a fl pianoroll?

Post

You can set a loop in the piano roll by double clicking or ctrl-clicking and dragging a selection across the top bar of the piano roll.

Post

yes, but the loop runs again to the end of a bar after closing the pianoroll window.

Post

What are you trying to do though? The looplength is going to be the length of the score rounded up the the nearest bar.

Post

i'll try to reformulate my question:

i have a 2 bar pianoroll on one track and a 4 bar pianoroll on another.
is it possible to repeat the 2 bar pianoroll without waiting until the 4 bar pianoroll is through?

Post

You can separate the tracks into different patterns and tile them in the playlist, they will tile in 2- and 4- bar lengths respectively. I'm guessing that you want them in the same pattern though (to see ghost channels perhaps, or just ease of use), so you can duplicate the 2-bar score and paste it 2 bars ahead, so you have it repeat twice for every cycle of the 4-bar loop.

thanx for the help.

greets
