other effects/ processors that are routed like a vocoder?

i apologize in advance for my ignorance. as you know, vocoders are routed with one input going into the vocoder from the left channel and and one from the right, then are processed together in the vocoder. are there any other plugins that work like this? do pitch-shifters do this?

xoxos's channelswap
- uses the same host-synced algorithmic patterning engine as several other plugins here (eg. muchacho, ordinate, lotus) with the sole purpose of swapping left and right channels. intended to be used in the midst of extensive signal processing chains for confusing fsu-style audio.

thanks a lot for the link. the shapee sounds great but isn't it just basically a vocoder? great clean sound though. how does the Ether differ... couldn't get it running.robenestobenz wrote:Jez Wells' excellent Shapee and Ether plugins. Found here.
