Well now there is Fl 6 out there since a half year or something, there arent realy much new features since FL Styudio5 out there but as i work with vsts it doesnt matter for me. I am asking me if the developers will develop some new skins for FL Studio because this grey skin loks realy ugly IMO. All other hosts look way better than FL Studio which looks like some amateur program compared to the other programs, will there be some change with the next version?

Just cross your fingers and hope that hitman doesn't read this thread.
Serious/ontopic reply: You can post this request on looptalk, however, it has been done to death both there and here.

I've wondered before whether there's a Windows app that can re-map colours on screen - so for example, you could choose that anything that's red be displayed as yellow. You could skin anything.

Indeed, it's perfect. Although I can guess why people would want something else.

The application should support custeniceable skins, there should be a skin editor included or at list some themes because that grey color looks realy unprofessional, it is easy to work though but it looks realy unprofessional. Especially the colors but the buttons dont look that professional either. Some days ago i saw a guy working on reason3 and i must say the skin is f**king amazing, they change their skins but Imageline keep their skin version over version and dont even add some themes, i know enough over users who also find the skin awful so they have to change it finally.speccyteccy wrote:I've wondered before whether there's a Windows app that can re-map colours on screen - so for example, you could choose that anything that's red be displayed as yellow. A good exfoliating facial scrub, followed by a non-perfumed sensitive moisturizer would be good for FL's bad skin.
(by the way, the inability to skin the vast majority of useful components in FL means that the vast majority of user skins default to exceeding craptacularity and that won't change unless the skinning is completely overhauled by IL, which isn't likely to happen.)

While we're at it, Photoshop doesn't support skinning: Ugh, how unprofessional! No wonder no imaging professionals want to use it
Neither does Maya, so must look pretty unprofessional to 3D artists. Now, does anyone have any links where I can download cool Dreamweaver skins?
Sorry, just very very very tired of this particular whinge.

I never understood why IL didn't want to give users the choice of using skins; who cares if the skins look crappy, at least it will make people one less thing to post about!
Think about it, Baniev: FL7, COMPLETELY skinnable. I bet you're creaming your pants right now.
