when you can make this plug work, it really thrashes your audio... it's really worth the 10 second wait to download it... when the axis knobs are all the way down... they will cause the plug to produce no audio, as the axis knobs "chop" the audio at the rate they are set to, for the most interesating sounds, bring #1 up to around 15/25 percent, and the #2 up to around 75%... good stuff.

here's a tip to get the songs to work for you, with the hi-fi version-
get a copy of the COMMAND LINE version of LAME encoder - then windows up to open the file (wav) using it. it should render almost any wav, into an mp3. let me know how you like this plug... i love it.

Wait, I have no idea what that has to do with anything.

How could an encoder run a VST? And why would you want it to be an mp3 anyways? How would that make the hi- version work better? I am dumb.

I use the lo- version because FL won't even run right on my shitty PC at a higher sample rate.

ahhhh, see, i've become addicted to 96k, 24bit, it's only natural, erm, i mean it's a matter of digital perception. erm, does anybody know what i'm talking about, anyway, lame encoder command line allows you to make a quick conversion from wav to mp3, without setting anything up. except for the one time. you'd right click on the wav file, go to open with, then choose lame encoder, from wherever you installed it. it's freaking nitro. helps out with my stuggles on the old pentium 3.

razorlame is the only mp3 converter I use. very easy to use frontend....haven't fooled with then 96khz, 24bit but *should* work...even if not- at 44.1;16, lame is still great to my addled hearing

Well the problem with that in FL is that everything then runs at the new sample/bt rate and thus takes many times more PC power. I already tend to have to make tracks one by one with all the others muted, render them, then arrange them as wavs, then freeze those, etc.

Trust me, had I the ability to do so I'd use nothing but the highest sample rates available. I've yet to hear of a PC setup that I thought, "Yeah, that's sufficient!"

Oddly, I've ended up using this plug, animated, on hi-hats more than anything else.

pretty sure razorlame depends on the same command line version... but it's pretty handy to have a gui for the thing. happy glitching peoples. i want pepperoni pizza! yeah, it's a good use for it. i love just sending audio through my plugs, basking in the glory of the unexpected!

ahhh, yes. the addiction. one of my favorite plugs is the arcdev blackbox, i send that through a group of my plugs, and always get very dizzy and disoriented, like i'm about to melt from this reality. i love audio.

I just made a song that contains no dover plugs just to see if I still could. Whereas my entire live set has dover plugs in it now lol.
