Hello people. Just to let you know that I have now purchased a new laptop and I am currently working on the GUI code. I am also upgrading to the VST SDK 2.4 at the same time.

excellent news, i love this synth at the moment but could really do with a nice gui to make it easier to use.

Glad to hear it. Were you ever able to fix the multi-voice noise problem (I think it was intermodulation related)?

how did I miss this? Downloaded and will try.

Wonderful, wonderful news.
The lack of gui even tries my sloth-like patience.
I've gotten some crazy, crazy sounds out of Scanned Synth.

I would be really interested to hear anything that anybody has produced using Scanned Synth. It'll give me something to listen to while a get my head round the GUI/SDK/compiler stuff :phones: (which is giving me a headache. For some reason the reverb module is really noisy since I changed compilers from Dev-C++ to MS VC++ 2005 :bang:).

:hihi: don't kill yourself mate....

there one of mine that use some scanned synth here

ambrosia

it makes up part of the pad/drone in the first few minutes.

i've used it in a few things recently but have lost track of where

looking forward to the gui'ed version indeed.

cheers,

steve.

Nice song blaster. :)

I don't think I can honestly say I produced this, since I just hit randomize and tweaked a few knobs to make it more listenable... but here's a sound I managed to coax out of it.

Me, too!

It's been so long that I can't recall which songs even have scanned synth any more :( I stopped using it in hopes of the gui version. The sounds I've made with it are completely unrelated to one another, though, I'll have to dig out my presets as there's a lot of ground covered sonically by scanned.

Great tune, blaster. Based on what I've gotten scanned to do I wouldn't even have realized that's what you're using.

Due to its many parameters it's a beast to do. But we're getting there in the end.
