Naming files works now
Even though it's a super minor thing i still notice if you delete a loop, the 1st arrangement track displays portions of the slices.
It's a cosmetic thing so nothing too major.

it's fixed now, didn't make it to beta 3 that I just sent out though, so to be on the safe side I'll send a beta 4 right away.

Beta 3 fixed this problem:

Found some weird behaviour when moving events. I rewrote the re-drawing so the dragged event is always drawn on top of other events.

Btw. I'm considering semitransparent events, my experiments seem promising, but performance will be increasingly dependent on graphics cards (in real life only a problem with old systems especially old laptops)

found a bug: once the hold envelope is set to "absolute" it can't be set back to "relative".

it can be set back, but i have to click on the button once and then a second time holding lmb for 1-2 secs.. anyway, it's a bug (but a small one)

1] Load Liveslice onto a MIDI track within Energy XT's sequencer.
2] Dock it to its exclusive window
3] Press the "rec" button to display the Recording transport
4] Now switch to a different docked window within EXT (like the sequencer window)
5] Go back to the docked Liveslice window.

The Recording transport is not displayed. You have to press the "rec" button again.

Nothing too serious but a bit annoying

I've made a start on updating the OCmmands Guide for v1.44, but ran into a few issues. Some may be present in earlier versions:

BR023 - Short folder names corrupts path display in Browser
I have some loops in a path, and one of the folder levels in the path is "FX". When I select this path in the browser, the path name displayed is corrupted. I think it is because the folder name is only 2 characters (works Ok if I change the folder name to be 4 or more characters)

BR024 - MIDI trigger highlights 3 Arrangements
Trigger note C1 plays the Arrangement associated with note C1, but highlights (with a red outline) the Arrangements associated with C1, C3 and C5. This is similar for the other triggers.

BR025 - [Play] plays selected Arrangement after Bank change
- select an Arrangement in Bank 1
- select [Bank 3]
- click [Play]

- the "hidden" Arrangement in Bank 1 plays,
- in this circumstance, I think that perhaps, no arrangement should play.

BR026 - In some cases, the triggered Arrangement was not outlined in red
- I'm not sure of the steps to recreate the problem (triggered by MIDI notes)

BR027 - RMB on Note values on Settings page
On the Settings page,
RMB any of the Note values in MIDI Playback settings, sets the note to C-2,
Further clicks change the note to the C at the next octave (and wrap round to C-2).

I think that RMB should act consistently, but slightly differently:
- either, always move to the C at the next octave
- or, move up by one octave each time
- wrapping round at the top of the scale in both cases.

BR028 - Highlighting arrangements when [Played]
When you audition Arrangements using the [Play] button, the arrangements being played are not outlined in red. (Works Ok when the arrangements are triggered by MIDI)

BR029 - changing from [sel lopp] no longer works
And finally, I tried to select an Arrangement so I could trigger its events by MID notes, but each time the setting went back to [sel loop] when I clicked the [Settings] button to return to the main GUI.
This seems to be OK in v1.43

Verified. It only seems to happen when full path is 2 or more browser lines long (i.e. it doesn't happen with a "c:\fx" path).

I cannot reproduce this. Does this happen always or under specific circumstances?

Verified. I think I'm with you here: actually I'd vote for automatically removing focus from selected arrangement after a bank change.

Haven't tried this extensively with 1.44, but so far I can only reproduce it every now and then if I send note on/off very quickly (possibly due to gui refresh not catching up).

Verified. Don't really care one way or the other: I always LMB+drag

Verified. It does indeed work as expected in 1.43
