Im still looking for a good midi arpergiator plug in for mac osx. I would like one with good chord like functions and strumming fx. anyone know such a thing?

Hang on ther I seem to recall that there was something over at Propellerheads for Reason, that may work.

Arps are sadly neglected everywhere. And many that do exist are really pattern players and not arps in the truest sense.

Terrible!!!!!!!! Arp is such cool stuff wich a computer could even a hell of a lot better then a synth.Its about time someone makes a good aerp plug inn.

are you absolutely shure there is nothing?

I am sure there is nothing for OSX... nothing I would be interested in. Plenty of room there for a developer to do something

ronimusic.com has a "sweet midi Arp." I have it and it works great.

umm, when you say midi plug-in, what do you mean exactly? Audio plug-in formats are well-specified, but there is no standard for midi plugins AFAIK. Cubase has its own midi transformer plugins, including the Arpache. Logic and DP both have arpeggiators that you can set up, and so does Live. And, many synth plugins already HAVE arps built in, many of them freeware!

Reason actually *doesn't* have an arpeggiator, but you can use Matrix sequencers as a pitch modulator, which is a different effect.

If there was a MIDI plugin standard, I'd agree that the lack of a midi plugin arp would be terrible. What host are you using?
