I've just completed editing and mapping a full set of 4 congas (LP "Galaxy" Giovanni Series) - Kontakt 2 and HALion 3 format.
People who have purchased ns_kit7 will be able to download them for free from the members resource area of the naturalstudio website.
However, the ns_congas have turned out to be a sample library in their own right, weighing in at just under 2000 samples (around 640MB) and sound superb. I appreciate that not everyone necessarily needs the full ns_kit7, but there does seem to be a gap in the market for an extensively sampled set of congas.
Would anybody be interested in purchasing this as a separate product (most probably a 400MB direct download) for around £10?
Here's a quick mp3 demo to give you an idea of how the full set sounds:

Just trying to get a feel for whether this is going to be worthwhile setting it all up...
Let me know what you think.
Douglas.

I'd be in for the direct download purchase of the congas. Especially if it accepts Paypal...

Glad to see that a few of you are interested in principal.
It's unlikely I'd accept paypal, though. I went through great pains setting up my own online shop so that as many of the middle men are cut out as possibe and fees are kept at a minimum. I always found PayPal to be a rather amateur operation with costly fees. What are you guys seeing as the advantage over a secure online shop?

PayPal is convenient, and solves the "not everyone has a credit card" issue.
I know there is a small PayPal transaction fee if it's to a business account, but couldn't you factor that into the price?
Couldn't you always accept PayPal as well as your secure online shop? I've seen other companies that do this. They use the PayPal buy option through PayPal, but the other options go through their own secure shop (to avoid Paypal fees or whatever).

It's a fair point, and I do accept PayPal if it's requested for ns_kit7, but for direct downloads it becomes a bit of a pain.Gregjazz wrote:PayPal is convenient, and solves the "not everyone has a credit card" issue.

Oh, here's another demo - http://www.naturalstudio.co.uk/demos/ns ... s_afro.mp3 - everything is a sampled instrument from ns_kit7 apart from the bass. Man, these congas are so addictive!

How do I buy the congas w/o buying the whole NS_kit? I just looked at the shop and didn't see it yet... Do I need to register for a login first?
