Does this happen to anybody else here?
Since I have Amplitube 2, it sometimes happens that when loading a song that uses it, my host freezes. I have this happening in Sonar 4 and 5 as well as in Samplitude 8.31 pro. I've found a thread over at the Sonar Forums, where at least two other people are having the same problem:

Still it does not seem to happen to all users, so the main intent of this post is to see how widespread the problem is, and if there maybe is something that the systems that show the problem have in common.

Looks like it was more or less a user error:
Disabling the antivirus scanner seems to fix the problem.
Now before everyone jumps on me, for running antivirus when running my daw, I am doing this since years, sometimes when working on a tune I find it relaxing to take a break and watch a website and I never had problems before. Admittably, I should have considered this as being the root of the problem earlier though
