This is probably a stupid question, but you don't ask...I found that a number of my samples were very quiet, e.g the free ones I converted ftom Akai format and the Kontakt format ones from Bela D Children's Choirs. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that some had the low pass filter (2 pole) sitting in the effects. I din't put them there so I'm wondering if they came with the samples..and if so..why?

it must be from the akai conversion - maybe some of the akai patches had a small amount of LPF applied to them.

Hi, but it's also on the Kontakt2 samples of Giovani, I guess I'll just take them off as required.
