Now keep in mind guys that if you own ANY IK product (even an OEM "Lite version" that comes with your sound card or ProTools or an Expansion Tank) then you qualify for the upgrade version. Here's a little buyer's hint: You CAN actually go to www.esoundz.com and at the SAME TIME buy an Expansion Tank and then pick the UPGRADE versions of any of those bundles...all I can say is DO THE MATH and you will realize that this way you save money AND get a free library.

All you have to do is make sure you just register the Expansion Tank's SampleTank 2 LE FIRST and then the bundle upgrade will authorize no problem.

Thanks Mauro! I am sure you will get a lot of out it. Each item in the bundle is so incredibly useful. I think that's what sets it apart from other bundles out there like it.

Yes and it is already set up to work with the multiple plug-ins in the package that work with it. So that's convenient.

Enjoy! I use all of these products all the time in my music and a lot of people do. So, being able to get them all in one shot like this is so great for so many people, especially if they are on a budget (who isn't?). It makes such a difference in your musical productions to be able to pull out any of these whether it is sounds or fx they are just IMPORTANT tools to have in the virtual studio.

With that said, I think that EVERYONE should upgrade to the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE! Haha. But, actually I am totally serious. I am not just saying that because it's a sales thing to say. I really don't see why any musician WOULDN'T want to get it. Really. It's a smart set up to have. Keep in mind that the UPGRADE price is like the price of 2 or maybe 2 and a half plug-ins yet you get ALL of them! I mean you might as well...

Here's some advice for owners of various IK plugs:

1. If you own 2 of IK & SR's workstation plug-ins and you want the third (either ST, SS2 or Miroslav) then don't get the Workstation Bundle but either get the crossgrade to the third workstation plug-in -OR- get the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE to get yourself all of the awesome EFFECTS!!!! Think if you had ST2XL and SS2 and wanted to get Miroslav Philharmonik you could have 4 effect plug-ins that list for $1,200 for just a few hundred dollars more... like ending up being $50 per effect plug-in for things like CSR, AT2 etc.

2. If you own 2 IK effects already you could still justify getting the effects bundle upgrade but again you might want to consider getting the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE upgrade since it is the same sort of value of not being that much more expensive but offering you all of the instrument plug-ins.

3. If you own a variety of IK effects and instrument plug-ins already which many of you do then simply do the math and see if it makes sense to get the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE (I like capitlizing it- think BIG words like the Guitar Center ad guy's voice - THIS WEEK ONLY!!!). If the extra plug-ins you don't have end up at least being HALF price by upgrading to the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE then I'd say it's worth upgrading. You can talk to jorge@esoundz.com to see if he can make some minor price adjustments based on products you've ordered at www.esoundz.com before to see if that helps justify it. But, don't forget that you have each of the individual products unregistered in the box so theoretically you can sell or give a friend or use on additional machines the duplicated products you have in the box as well. The only thing is that there's only one USB key so the ones that need USB keys would need to have the license transfered but the ones that don't like ST2.1, SS2 and TRacks... well you get the idea.

4. If you own any of the ST2 LE, SE or AT LE/LIVE products or any of the OEM lite versions that come with ProTools systems, Cakewalk, Mackie, Emu, Yamaha and other products then take your pick of upgrading to the TOTAL WORKSTATION BUNDLE, TOTAL EFFECTS BUNDLE or TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE. They're all great value.

pity there isn't an a la carte option.
I have amplitube 2, and would be interested in a package of ampeg svx, CSR and probably sonik synth 2. have zero interest in the other products unfortunately.

Really? You couldn't make good use of TRacks' Fairchild compressor? How about the sounds of Philharmonik? Prety sweet! Functionality of SampleTank 2.1 is a nice Swiss Army knife of tools there... but anyway you could also just go get the TOTAL STUDIO BUNDLE and sell of what you don't use I suppose.

The "ala carte" solution are upgrade/crossgrades. As an AT2 owner you qualify for the crossgrades to Ampeg and also to CSR (but there is no crossgrade to Sonik Synth 2 from AT2).

I mean, not installing/registering one of the products from the bundle and sell it with no transfer fees attached for the new owner ?

Technically they should pay the license transfer fee. But, if you don't register that particular product withint he bundle then they can be the first to register it and technically get around it. I don't think there's a way to know from the system. I don't want to say that is ENCOURAGED haha but it is possible since each product in the bundle has it's own serial (at least at the moment... could change... possibly not long after reading this post so get your bundles now!!! haha). There is only one KEY in the package though so it might be more difficult to do with the products that use the key. But, SS2, ST2 and TR don't use the key at least.

Look there are a lot of creative ways to justify getting the bundles. Most of that should either be done in your own mind or as a one on one thing with Jorge where he can help you figure out what's best for you considering what you want/don't want or what you already own etc. jorge@esoundz.com is his email and he is the support manager at www.esoundz.com

I probaly should have used this

before i posted my previous question, as i simply was when i read the by me quoted remark that's posted somewhere further above in this thread.
I was amazed that "this window" could be a reality when buying a bundle etc.
