i've had angelina for a while now... the registered version.
i use it in FL studio 6.
all too often, unfortunately, when i go to save a piece i've been working on that includes angelina, i get the message "cannot save with unregistered version" (or something to that effect). so i have to dig through emails all over again, cut and paste, etc. just to save my work. then angelina will work for a while again until BAM! another evening of work and again it wants the registration code to be able to save.

Is this some built-in random legit copy check sort of thing or what is the deal. getting frustrated with this otherwise amazing synth.

I had this issue for a while on a system about 18 months ago, even posted it here. I think I would up pasting the code directly into the registry or something. Never seemed to reoccur on the next system I built.

I believe i have the latest version. Mine is 1.3

Is this possibly a conflict with other software?

Yes, this should be the latest one.

That's unlikely... I'll double-check that serial number code...

i too have had this problem i have had to re cut and paste in my reg code a few times now. both in sonar 3 (old i know but it does the job for me) and ableton live 5.2. rhino seams rock solid just angelina bombing out. i also have had crashes on exit in live which i traced to angelina any one else had this or is it just me. i am long over due a clean install on my music laptop one of those job's i never get round too, but it has not been on the net at all.

I have just purchased Angelina and I also experience the same problem (code not sticking).

I use it within Sonar 5 SE on a PC that has been my ost stable yet... Pentium 4 3.0Ghz, ASUS mobo and video card, RME Hammerfall soundcard.

I've also experienced crashing on exiting Sonar and I too feel that it is Angelina that is causing the problem.

I hope this can be fixed because I sure am enjoying the sounds that Angelina gives me.

i have had this problem off and on with Project 5 for a couple of years. I just resigned myself to keeping it handy and pasting it back in when requested.

Same problem on Receptor. Working fine but everytime the plug is restarted I have to register again.

could this problem be due to copies rather than original software? I mean how hard is it to copy Angelina, then try to use the same already registered numbers to re-install and re-register it over and over again on computers and friends? Hmmmm, just a thought.

i am with scott on this you could go upsetting people with comments like these. just for the record i have always been a legit owner of all my big tick software. But really what that has to do with you my friend i dont know, you can make it your problem if you want but me i got better things to be getting on with like recording some more music.

Ahh, so everybody else is also having this rather wierd problem. Everything that has been described above has also happened to me.
I've also had this problem with my entirely legal copy of angelina and it does seem to come and go...

First of all, how can this be random, it either works or it doesn't. Its either registered or its not!

I've sent a recent email to BigTick, but haven't got a reply yet!
