Are you using it? If so, please post your comments here, good and bad.

What interest me the most is that it seems to have a very composition-centric approach to audio/midi recording and editing.
No, that wasn't me.

Yep been using it since ver 8 and it gets better every time. work flow excellent, easy midi editing, and VERY stable since ver 11 build 3 no real learning curve and lots of nice touches that some of the "big boys" overlooked all in all can't fault it for the price :band: javascript:emoticon(':band:')

Is that the only host you use? Or do you have to rely on other for some task?

PowerTracks Pro is a nice linear DAW with very good audio and midi capabilities. It provides a nice set of native effects but lacks generators. It's been a bit behind in the development curve having just introduced VST support in v.11. I've been using it since version 8 and keep buying the upgrades as they are only $29 and often discounted to $19 when PG Music runs sales. However, my main DAW is FLStudio because I love the workflow and features.

The best part of PowerTracks is the forum. The program has a very dedicated user base and there are some real knowledgable folks willing to offer as much help as you need. The excellent support makes it ideal for new users or those musicians who don't want or need all the features of a more powerful DAW.
