Is it the Creamware Modular III? According to the reference manual it has a Pan Modulator. So the panning can be modulated by... whatever! Presto! Not??

Just FTR, the "Basis" function of the Waldorf PPG Wave is closely modeled after the original PPG Wave 2.2/2.3 functionality of the same name. In the original, this just regulates the stereo spread.

The PPG Wave 2.x got 8 voices, which can be either accessed separately on 8 single outs, or mixed to a left/right output pair. In this case, voices 1,3,5,7 are sent to the left channel and voices 2,4,6,8 are sent to the right channel. The Basis knob regulates the stereo spread. In position 10, voices 1,3,5,7 are only audible on the left side, whereas voices 2,4,6,8 are only audible on the right side. In position 0, all voices are audible on both sides with the same loudness.

I use ModIII/Flexor 1.5,
And the Pan Modulator is exactly what i use. As i said before, the panning aint the real problem for me, its the combo with the various PPG keyb. modes that is the tricky part..
As i need a unison addon of some sort, to do the Dual, Quad etc. modes.
