i remember awhile back arguru from discodsp was making a tracker VSTi thingy so what looked like you could do is.........you could load up samples in it and track them down like in fasttracker or impulse tracker and then play them in cubase.....

i've written arguru and his discodsp buddy about this several times and have never recieved any sort of answer.....i realise i havent given you any money.....but come on.....a answer stating "its dead" would of been enough.

but anywho.....does anything know anything about this.??. or anything LIKE this.?.

Sounds like you are talking about Aodix - it is out there and working, though you can't import/export to Cubase as far as I can tell. It works great as a tracker though, and the VSTi support is quite good. I can use all my favorite VSTs from Cubase there. I do wish I could get the data in and out of Cubase though, that's a drag.

there WERE plans for a vst plugin tracker from arguru but i dont know what happened to it

dont feel hard done by with the lack of answers btw - arguru is fairly notorious for that as a i remember

OMG....people responded.....but anywho.....no....it's not aodix.....it was something else.....i imagine experimentfour knows what im on about......

i think i'd pay just to get my hands on that beta.......

and as far as arguru responding......i've notice his lack of support......he's like a big company......except not.

Hi, sorry for miss your questions people. (me pretty busy).

The tracker Elu probably refers is about Cyberride, wich I was started to develop some monts ago, well. After been busy with some other stuff I looked over it again and didnt like the way in what was conceived, so I decided to re-start the project from scratch (allowing timestamped events indead a hard-grid step sequencer), so please be patient, this still can take a few months to accomplish.

being as that i just woke up......this is the best news i've heard all day.....

i'll probably be happy about this even while im at work......and then something shitty will happen and i'll forget about it and dwell on the bad news......but then i'll come home again......look at the forum and get all happy again........whooo hooo.!!.

cough* cough* if you need any beta testers......cough* cough*.......

Well, the bad news:

Only HOSTs complaining full vst specs and able to route plugin events to other plugins will work:

- Bidule (in Bidule Cyberride also has special extensions like MIDI multiport (16 midi ports in(s)/out(s) * 16 channels each one) so it can sequence up to 256 MIDI channels. Fully recommended.

- Cubase SX.

- Polac Buzz VST host.

i use SX.......so im in the clear. whoo hooo.!.

arguru.....did you plan on putting up a alpha or beta of cyberride up.?. or waiting till its complete.?.

the mere thought of using it makes me happy......
