I tried the demo. Everything done in it sounded to me like Tarnce.

FL can definatly give you the Tiesto sound! I find if you are using the slicer and sampler you can get a really nice warm sound.. You will probably want to add a better reverb, compressor and a parametric eq to it.. Just remember to have fun!!

in the version 5, there were 4 tarnce demo tunes of like a million, even less with 6.

No,it's just plain dutch DOUGH

The "simple" 3xOSC can sound extremely powerful,you just have to tweak it right and use the built-in FL effects to make it "shine".
It can even do better than Sytrus for certain types of sounds.

FLStudio can do ok with the free generators it comes with, but I hardly use them. I started with B4 (which I already had for standalone use), synth1 and a soundfont player (Fruity SF player, since sfz wasn't out yet). I added DaAlfa2k and the Linplug bundle of that time to it.

Right now, there's an awful lot you can do for free or cheap in conjunction with FLStudio - or other hosts.
