I think it's cool, the colours are nice except the white is just a little bit too bright - lot's of contrast. I don't quite get the main mixer header bars, they look somehow broken. Colour scheme is so good that maybe this one could be developed?

It was more for fun than functionality...i knew this would turn out into something special and weird...

but feel free to modify it...

Ill be glad to see another version of it...

For my part i prefer to wait for XT 2 for skinning again...i want to spend more time doing music...

BTW: Show me your skin and I tell you what your working process is. There are some *very* nice skins here but the midi window seems to be a step child in regards to visuability and contrast. As attractive as the new skins are - in the midi window even the default.gui is more work-friendly than the most of them. Maybe that is because not many users need the piano roll view? Or is there something I did not get?

to hazard a guess, I think the piano roll shares colors with other GUI elements, so that might restrict a skinners choices somewhat.

Hmmm, might that be relevant with my skins, Hannes? I live in the piano roll and also tried to make it work. But like glurgle said, the colours are pretty strangely interdependent in the the piano roll and sequencer views.

Thought I'd share as the light flat skin was a complete failure, and I don't have time to spend on these projects anymore. More skins maybe next year
