GEQ? Hehe, my first idea was "Oh, a new from Kjaerhus" :D

What jens means is that Overtone only shows one stereo in and one stereo out.

Aleksey, I'd just like to chime in and say that the new style is beautiful. Very clear, yet with a nice touch of class.

These are from http://www.rubicon.ca/ : Opulent and Hilbert Neve fonts. High quality as far as I'm concerned. Just $59 for the full set. :) Readout font is BigNoodleTitling (c) James Arboghast/Sentinel Type,2003 - this one is free for any use.

When I insert EnergyXT E in Sonar 5.2 I can insert Overtone there and it shows 8 ins 8 outs (it's not that they can be used in Sonar, but anyway it shows 8ins/8outs).

Oh, you so got me there...and thank you for the Overtone(s) 8)

Is it somehow tied to physical I/O ports?

Or are you seeing eXT's ports in Sonar?

All I see is a pair of stereo I/O in Overtone, in eXT standalone and XTE.

I do not know what is going on, really. I see 8 in and 8 out pots near the OvertoneGEQ box in eXT.

Aleksey - first off - thanks for a great free Eq :-)

<developer's question> when using fonts that are not standard windows ones, do you have to take a snapshot and embed a bitmap of each character or is there a painless way of using alternative fonts ? (or is it a secret? :-o )

Incredibly weird: I've got Winamp open, open up eXT, and drag Overtone into my (blank) eXT window. The music I'm listening to in Winamp somehow becomes distorted, sounding a bit like what headquest was describing earlier.

I've opened hundreds of VSTs for testing while Winamp was playing in the background, and never seen anything like this before.

I'm using an Audigy2 with the Creative ASIO drivers for eXT and DirectSound output in Winamp.

Ah, sorry for thinking Sonar 5.2 does not work correctly with 64 bit audio - it does work as it should. It was my fault. :) I will release updated version soon. Probably this also applies to eXT.

Yes, we are taking big B/W snapshots of each letter, and performing high-quality downscaling. (of course, this is fully automated process).

Are you using Winamp visualisations? If so it could be a fight betwen video and audio drivers is causeing that. I have that sometimes (different situation from the Sonar thing, but the symptom is similar). Overtone GEQ has a fair CPU hit, combined with all the stuff you have open at once...
