Automated Pitch Shifting

Is there such a thing as a pitch shifter that adjusts the pitch of your vocal track via notes you have entered on a piano roll? (to use the piano roll as a midi controller to tell the pitch shifter exactly when and what notes to shift the signal to?)

Hmmm well it really depends on your host but I know that FruityLoops does allow you to control parameters via midi notes.. So theoretically it can be done! Another option would be to use Melodyne to do the same thing just not with direct midi keyboard controller interaction.. You would just have to play/record the midi part into Melodyne then copy the part onto the vocal track (also in MeloD)..

GSnap looks cool! It reminds me of Antares or RBCvocal tuner.. The only downside is its monophonic only..

I don't think Melodyne can tell the difference weather the midi notes come from a controller or a piano roll...

Don't forget Antares Autotune, Leapfrog Rephrase.

Discord 2 might be an option too, it can shift left and right independently, you can control the amount of pitch shift with CC messages.
