Something like Voxengo Beeper to insert noises?

Hi all

As some of you may know Voxengo has a free VST called Beeper that inserts a regular audible beep into audio files so as to deter illegal copying.

I was wondering, are there any other similar VSTs that would regularly insert (or 'mix paste') white noise or even custom audio - e.g. a voice saying 'preview'?

Obviously this could be done manually with an audio editor, but for reasons of speed I'm specifically looking for something that will do it automatically, with one or two mouse clicks.

Thanks! :)

In the mean time why not just create a midi file with a regular note every x bars/beats and use it to trigger a sampler loaded with your preffered sound? You could then re-use the midi file in every project.

Or you could feed the voxengo beeper into something like KT Drum trigger (which will send a midi note every time the beep happens) and then a sampler loaded with whatever noise you want.
the way is not a religious or political statement

I could easily make something like that with options if there was a real demand for it

Insert a vsti demo that has a noise you want into the signal chain.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Benedict, it would be great if you could come up with a dedicated VST for this. If you do, I'll be happy to beta test. :)

I'm also interrested in such a product. We have a database with thousands of webpreviews, i'm looking for a tool that mixes automatically a "preview" audiofile into the previews.

Hi

You asked for a VST that could help you protect your preview audio files on the net. Well it is done and called PreView Buddy - part of the PreRoll Pecorder pack. More info at the thread below or on my site.
