...I have bought the Express Edition of FL Studio recently (quite impressive tools for this little money!) and I'd need some info just for clarification. As far as I see it it is not possible to launch the patterns of FL Studio in its live mode via midi notes from another host while FL Studio is being used in plug-in mode, is it? I'd wanted to use FL Studio as a plug-in in Ableton Live and wanted to jam with the patterns I've created in FL Studio in Live's session view. Is this somehow possible in Rewire mode?

...and is it just me or is the login procedure and the forum structure over at the FL Studio website a bit strange?

I'm afraid I don't know much about live mode, haveing never really used it, but I can confirm the login structure is a bit awkward -you're not crazy

I'll certainly look into the live mode (2/3rd mention in the last week 'round these parts.)

... I was very happy when I discovered the live mode, for it might allow you to use FL Studio like an instrument, i. e. not to be bound to an arrangement when using it in plug-in mode. It would be so cool, if it could work that way, but I'm still unsure if I have made everything right since I'm a newbie to FL Studio...

There was a standalone app that gave better access to FL's Live mode (just cant remember the DEv or APname).. Try doing a search for FL live mode here.. should be able to find it...

i still prefer to use fl in pattern mode cause you can not add live a samples in live mode noor a loops but you can do it in pattern mode

but joke apart just try to put a new loop or a sample it will break the sync and the other loops or samples will start again

we must find an exorcist for this though gol didn't replied about it on the long fl as a live tool thread on looptalk

that was mine, FL-Live had two versions, you can find them here (v1) and here (v2)
