Red_Force, I notice that the next video tutorial will be about Predatohm. My suggestion would be to start the tutorial with an empty patch, and work up an example from there. Since the current tutorial focused on a drum loop, perhaps the next one could demonstrate how to phatten up a synth line or add warmth to a vocal - using a combination of some of the more simple features as well as more advanced features of the plug. Maybe you could demonstrate the Morph capability (a uniquely Ohm Force function) to show how you could add an evolving texture to the sound. I am interested in subtle treatments using this plug, rather than some of the more outlandishly sound destroying ones that are featured in some of the presets. The capability to download the resulting patch would also be good, so we can examine what you have done more closely.

Thanks for these tutorials, they are greatly appreciated.
Time is an illusion - lunchtime doubly so.

LOL
Well I should have mentionned than the predatohm tutorial is already done in good part. The good news is that it is on a synth line. Actually a good part of it is about what tweaking the synth regarding the predatohm setting.

The sound itself is rather "in your face" but the tweak is possibly subtle. I've posted a while ago a version of the final sound here along with a comparison with Ohmicide:Melohman

To be accurate, I must say that the time unit is "beat" not "beat per minute". Delay time is a duration, not a speed.

Ohmies, you should think of a group buy for your minimonsta. :hihi:

Yeah, and only two left to the next level which means 50% off Hurry! Tomorrow it's too late to get the two extra levels!

Level 7 reached... I must say this is the biggest first week we ever had!

About Minimonsta:Melohman
We'd love to do one, but we can't for now. :(

Oups, sorry I forgot that one. Ducking delay is actually "the" missing features in Ohmboyz so yes, you'll have to use something like ... Well it depends, really. Both compressor and NG are something you can use but they will produce different results. Of course you can set up something like you say in Cubase but I think one cool thing with duck delays is to mix them with dry, unducked signal. If you set up a simple chain you'd loose that. So you'll probably have to use some tricks to get that.

Ideally here is what I would do : use XT plugin to have a send done with a chain from Quad Frohmage and Ohmboyz. I would use the ADSR detector from QF to apply it to its output before it feeds Ohmboyz.

That is obviously more complicated than using something specific... unfortunately duck delays are pretty rare and none of the best delays units (first one coming in my mind... hmm, PSP 84 ) features it AFAICT. It seems this is a pretty unknown feature for a delay, sorry.

You are kidding. I didn't know that. I have used PSP84 for a long time too. Can anyone describe how to set up PSP84 as a duck delay?

Best,
Gordon

Gordon, I think Red Force said that PSP 84 was one of the best delay devices, not one with ducking effect.
