so, anyone have any name ideas?....that arent taken!

maybe i should start a thread for name suggestions? that would probably generate a lot more ideas than i'd come up with myself and it could also be a larger group of people who might catch names that are already used.

can't you be corny and call it Impact Electronic Drums or something then shorten it to ImpactED?

could remind people of their dodgy wisdom teeth though...

I actually like that one. But my wife's a dentist, so maybe my vote should be discounted...

is "Thud" taken? (...it's what I've nicknamed one of our cats. she's gotten a little tubby, and that's the sound she makes when jumping down from high places

one of the sections in this synth is actually called thud. i've named each section after the types of sounds they produce, rather than after real world drum names. (since these dont really sound like real world drums.)

As for Impact, there are already two competing software items - take a look at this.

So, here are some other thoughts:

Concussion
Thwack
Whammy

(I thought about both Clout and Fracas, but a quick search shows those two already taken by software or software developers)

Dang - the name should be the *easy* part!
