some further thoughts ...

i see no way to set a midi channel / port to a layer channel insert ...
i'm assuming that the layer channel insert recieves on omni mode , and will pass along
all midi data ...

re:focus ...
( without creating a layer/children arrangement )

> use several midi-out channel inserts , creating midi channels and ports as we have
discussed previously ...
> assign each controlled vsti to a different mixer channel ...
> arm each mixer channel , using the disk icon , lower right , in the mixer module ...

does this allow focus on all armed channels ?...
