Hi all,

I have a question about a reverb plug: If there's a reverb plugin on the market that allows you to pitch down (or pitch up) it's decay in realtime? Coz I'm tired of always recording the verb and then pitch it slowly down or up.

Could you rephrase this question? Do you mean making realtime adjustments to the decay time? Pretty much all VST/DX reverbs let you do this.

I don't think that all verb plugins can do this in realtime, I mean, I never found one that can. I know you can also to this by adding a pitch shifter to the same channel but it still doesn't give the same thing like in the sample above.

----Sounds like the kind of thing Audio Damage might make a plug-in capable of. Or get Dischord 2 and sidechain some reverb to it then automate it ?

chain a delay line with a discreet pitch shift in the loop and THEN through a reverb ?

Eventually the reverb inside the feedback loop as well...

Before reading, bear in mind the Yousendit link kept timing out for me when I tried to download the example.

One of the age old PVplugs, PVaccu, will do a passable impression of this. It's not exactly reverb though. It's an odd spectral thing which sustains each analysis channel and can then pitchbend the decay up or down, with control over decay time and amount of pitchbend. Mono only, but you could always use one on each channel.

Mutant Reverb's "scratching" control will do this, though I don't know if it'll sound like you want it to.
It's in the database here and it's freeware.
