FL Studio 6 and Steinberg Midex 8

Hi guys. Anyone using this? Apart from not being able to use Linear Time Base (LTB) technology for (as they claim) greatly improved MIDI timing accuracy.
I mean is anyone using it just as simple multiple MIDI interface with success? With more then two HW synths or whatever MIDI devices. If yes then can you be more detailed if there are maybe some problems or this is great interface all in all?

If not can anyone recommend some multiple I/O MIDI interface for use with FL Studio
(somethin like this : http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/midi.html#8x8 but it is not available at m-audio at least for now. Or maybe MOTUs midi interfaces like MOTU MIDI EXPRESS XT USB or even this realy cheap at http://www.thomann.de/gb/esi_m8u_usbmidiinterface.htm)

When I owned a MIDEX 8, I successfully used it with Sonar and Cubase on XP with multiple MIDI devices - make sure you have the latest driver. I have since switched to a M-Audio MIDISport 8x8 which also works fine with both those products. Back in the early 90's, I've had trouble with the MOTU MIDI Express (not the XT), but I have not used MOTU's recent MIDI interfaces on a PC.
