Hi everyone!

I just recently have started using liveslice, and I like it way more then any slicer I've used so far. I have three small questions:

1. Is it possible, in the arranger, to prevent slices from cutting eachother off when they overlap? Right now if I paste a slice somewhere, it overwrites any preexisting slices instead of playing them back in parallel. It can be done using multiple tracks, but I think thats not ideal if you want to, e.g. layer multiple snares.

2. The browser on the left is very tiny and cuts short a lot of the filenames, is it possibloe to widen it somehow?

3. Do the colours of the wave forms mean anything? (frequencies?)

Oh I also detected a small bug with LS: if i quickly double click the "directory up" link in the browser, my HD starts going crazy and liveslice (and my sequencer- ableton 5.2) grind to halt.

it's not possible as it's not the way LS works. you already answered yourself how you can layer ;)

no, but resizing is planned afaik

bingo, colors represent the frequencies

no problems here (eXT and live 5.2.2). you know that a simple click is enough, you don't need to doubleclick. did you change the standard folder in the settings? and do you have many files in the folders above your standard? my guess is that it just needs some time to scan.

Thank you for your reply. I'll try to reproduce the bug. It has happened to me a few times now: one time I let it go on for about 10 minutes, but I still had to kill the process in the end because it didnt sort itself out.
