Does anyone know if Acid 6 is capable of stretching along the lines of FLStudio's Elastique? By that I mean being able to drag a wav file to the left to speed it up and to the right to slow it down. It seems like Acid would be ideal for something like this, but I can't seem to figure it out

Well, my Acid education is almost complete

Hi Igor,
COuld you please explain how this kind of stretching would be useful to you? To my knowledge Acid cannot do exactly what you ask but both loops and Beatmapped clips will adapt to your song's tempo or pitch. If you explain what effect you want to achieve exactly then maybe I or someone else can figure out a way to do it in Acid.

Hey, thanks for replying. I mostly use FL Studio, and its Elastique timestretching allows this. I do a lot of remixing, and on occassion I'll import a vocal with an odd sort of time signature that, even though it's mostly in time, will need to be nudged in a few places to sound right. So in FLS I can visually timestretch a wav by lining it up. Do you get what I mean?thenoizzbox wrote:Hi Igor,
