It a port from a Scope plug...not my work though. Intended for mastering. If you fancy an "all in one" EQ, de-esser, bass/treble "enhancer" with some M/S control, lots of metering and a *huge* GUI...

...well, this may get some of you lot breaking out in a cold sweat.

I believe I will reserve my judgement on this one for now. :hihi:

Try it, it sounds very good.

Right above you...where I bloody well should have put it in the first place.

Just how big is the GUI, you ask?

Well...this is not even close to life size. Not remotely so...

And here is a link for the manual in Adobe format.

Whoa! :-o Now that's one big, sweet-ass EQ! How refreshingly large! :D

That's an excellent plug-in, really powerful, sounds good. But this is not available for VST usually?

Post

It's available for VST now, the demo version is here : http://www.brainworx-music.de/download/bxdemo.zip

Oh, I see - I thought it was forcibly ported from Scope. Cool.

Post

This has a certain "wow" factor imho.

No info on VST version on the website. Is it planned even? Well, since there's a demo version ... it would be logical.

How come no word about it on the website?
I must have missed something.

Constant switching to unprocessed signal in the demo version is, well ... annoying. Is there a demo version without this?

(fingers crossed)

Post

Yeah it's planned, the guy told me that around AES or later the website will be updated.

Post

It actually says on the home page that there will be RTAS, AU, etc and VST - but doesn't say so on the product page. I guess the price isn't mentioned...oh, wow: these guys actually do hardware. Huhn! I'm definitely interested - thanks for the tip, Kilroy.

Post

Ja. But is there a demo version without "unwanted modulation repeating every n seconds" :) ?

Post

The Scope version is listed to 598 euros(!) and is available for, they say, a limited time at 299.
So it's not cheap at all.
Maybe if it is that good I will consider buying it at 299 but not at its "full" price.
I'll post my impressions it soon.

Post

Ah! Well, I'll save that for my mastering years, then. Great EQ.
