Wicked, you're an MMA fan? :)

Anything in peticular or do you go for K2, UFC, Pride and so on? I'm personally looking forward to seeing BJ Penn crushing Matt Hughes for the title ;)

having never heard the helmet song, i have no idea...but judging by the few tracks of their's i've heard, probably not. same goes for the drums in zombie's ironhead. (which was one of the better tracks on sinister urge.)

...but the synth does sound cool. ;)

im a pride fan. the mixed weightclass competition they've been doing this year has been awesome. i wish i could go to the pride event thats coming up in vegas, but any good seat was way out of my price range...especially considering airfare and hotel fees on top of it.

i watch UFC from time to time too. in fact, im going to a friend's place this weekend to see the penn/hughes fight.

but its pride that i really like the best. i've unfortunately missed most of the bushido pay-per-views, but i dont think i've missed more than a few regular pride events over the last several years.

You're not kidding, my friend.
I will attest to the fact that, despite the number of "drums" that need to be edited per patch (which is, of course, somewhat time consuming) it is horrifically addictive.

I've had to consciously stop messing with it just to see what sort of weird combinations of sounds I can squeeze out and actually move on to using it and, like, adding some other less-fun VSTi to songs lol.

Even vurt wants to make drummies now.

Then again, if you mean the Tunguska fx as it's now called, I hear you cuz that hits me in the heart. Ouf, I think we should have a Robot Wars sort of live special of it and Motile fighting it out for the right to mate with the loser and then I'll raise the baby in my Skynnardbox. Sort of like a Skinner Box, but more Southern Rock.

...I never use a sig, but I smell me a pretty damn snappy one here :hihi:

...multi effect? ;)

as a bonus, i am going to be including this handle little morphing multi effect with the percussion synth. the synth has 4 stereo outs to allow for more flexibility with external processing, so i thought it would be cool if i included some.

here's what its got:

- granulation
- distortion/downsampler
- low pass filter
- dual delay
- morphing control of the grain and filter vectors
- stereo signal path

this thing sounds quite cool with the percussion synth and, of course, since its a seperate vst you can use it on anything.

...and yes, i need a name for this effect too. :)
A morphing (pitch-shifting?) bitcrushing granulator!

well you guys just hurry along so us regular guys can play :hyper:

FL's DrumsynthLive can morph between two states for each drum - it's a shame is doesn't have mute/solo buttons. I hope Ironhead does :D
