Man this is beautiful. Bravo Garittan! I bought Kontakt just so I can get this library. To bad I have to wait a month or to more to afford it.

Send it back, Gordon! Strad 2.0 won't require Kontakt, it will have its own player!

Hang on I understood Garittan Strad requires. So I started with upgrading to K2 from K1.53.

Version 1.x of the Strad required Kontakt 2, but now NI is releasing their Kontakt Player v2 for use by other sample companies, so the new Strad 2.0 will be a complete product in itself (as will the upcoming cello, I imagine!).
Though if you already bought K2, it's quite a beast in its own right.
