does tobybears microtuner have some sort of limit on the maximum deviation for the .tun note tuning and regular 12tet? i have been trying to microtune string studio for f**king forever and it just wont work. i can hear microtuner pitchbending but it doesnt even get close to the notes in my scale file. i have tried changing th epitch bend range in the instrument.
i would just like to know if any one has had any sort of success with this plugin. i really want to f**king use string studio. thx...

Never worked for me. IIRC, it doesn't handle scales with < or > 12 notes per octave, and quite frequently miscalculated and threw notes all over the place, pitch-wise. Right now there aren't many magic bullets for taking a 12tet type instrument or soundset and converting on the fly. At least for a lot of sample sets I've been able to use Extreme Sample Convertor to create Wusikstation sound sets - Wusik has a pretty good microtuning implementation.
Anyway, the Tobybear app would only work on single lines anyway, as any polyphony would induce incorrect pitchbend artifacts. I like alot of his other stuff, though...

ok well thanks for that i guess ill just have to wait for the next release of string studio
