Anyone use Waves Doubler

EDIT: OR ANY OTHER DOUBLER EFFECT

on Claps or Snares? If yes what is the best setting for you?? Lemmi know..

It's been my experience that snares sound shitty through any kind of pitchshifter. They can sound cool if you speed them up or slow them down, but pitchshifters just kick the crap out of them. I just tried two different snares with both Clone Ensemble and Discord, can't say any of the sounds I got were particularly useful.

Hmm I dont think that doubler is a pitch shifter tho.. its a panning delay I'm sure...

See the "Detune" settings?

It's a panning EQ LFO delay pitchshifter with up to four voices.

I really like Discord on Snares sometimes, it doesnt sound shabby if you're after a processed sound anyway.
