Hello,
Does anyone have a line on a VST Plugin for noise reduction? I am looking for something that is freeware. Any help would be appreciated.
Great Website, and forum you have.
Thank you,
Alissa

For removing broadband noise, you could probably get some good results using the Threshold filter of http://www.rekkerd.org/dtblkfx/.
You could also try http://www.freewebs.com/st3pan0va/sp3ctr3.htm
Voxengo Redunoise is my go to noise reducer plugin, but that is not freeware.

On this French page with free fx you'll find 2 'reducteurs de bruit' = noise reduction plugins:

Plus I recommend the JS PanDelay on the same page.

Audacity is free, and has an ok-ish noise reduction. Adobe Audition is even better.
But those are audio editors, not a VST plugin. I'd like my noise to be killed permanently, so an editor is OK to use for that

We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Thanks for all your help. I will try the mentioned vst plugins and work my way up to shareware alternatives. Thanks for your time and help.
