not really documented but you can stretch midi notes. Select some note and right click. alt and shift allows for some more options when stretching.

I mean, think of the 10,000,000 bug reports and false alarms they'll get.
They've already had 18 betas to a limited set of people, so they must feel that its fairly solid.

thx, works!

i have a question (after trying out the demo and this new beta):
does live have some kind of groove quantization for audio (or midi)?
i like to put my drum samples on audio clips in the session view and then play/record them into arrangement view. then i consolidate them (or how you call it).
now, it would be great if you could apply some sort of quantization to this 'audioblock'(that you have extracted from other audio or midi before, like mpc groove templates). this isn't possible at the moment, right?

it is possible in reason and cubase with midi (in cubase you can even extract it out of audio). it would be great if live had this sort of thing, because i'm much faster with live, there is less clicking.
Sadly, No groove quantize, just a swing function. I really like the "get user groove" in reason as well...use it all the time. I think that will make the next version.

Definitely Core Duo aware. I'm getting between 25%-40% decrease in CPU with Live 6 over 5.2.
