There's an easy way to test if Sylenth1 uses SE oscillators btw, just play a really really low pitched saw wave for example. SE oscs degrade heavily in quality at frequencies between about 0 and 50Hz. Then compare it to Sylenth's oscillators. And did you ever see a SE oscillator with a half-triangle, half-block wave, like the one in Sylenth1?
Similar tests can also easily be used to compare other parts of the audio path. I do find it weird however, that you don't seem to hear the difference, which is quite obvious if you ask me. But like I said before, if you can not hear it and you don't notice the difference in CPU usage, this synth is not for you.
