Okay, so I downloaded RevolVerb, ran it through the vst adapter, added it to a track. The impulse responses really add a lot to the sound of my electric guitars. Add a lot of volume, too. So when I click on "save", Sonar crashes. It's done this to me 3 times, and just now I tested it in a fresh project and it did it again. The dialog box I get each time says:
Sonar 3 Producer Edition: SONARPDR.EXE. Application error.

The instruction at "0x73dd1351" refernced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".

Click on OK to terminate the program,
Anybody else ever have this problem?
Now at least this IR plug will open and work. I've tried SIR and Convolver and Convolver would just crash Sonar right away. SIR sort-of worked when I first installed it but later it crashed the program every time. I don't even have a copy of it on my HD now. Kinda sucks because I like the sounds I'm hearing and want to use them.

I don't have RevolVerb but I can assure that Sonar 3PE does work here with SIR and Voxengo Pristine Space. So that might be an issue of RevolVerb.

I never tried RevolVerb but I did use SIR back when I was using S3 with no problem really. Keep in mind SIR never really achieved low latencey and I'm not sure about the others. 2 things, you don't give your system specs and what sample rate your working at.

What version of the VST->DC adaptor are you running? What are your 'Properties' settings for the adapotor for this plugin?

Try Elevayta Convo Boy Lite from my site

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1469.html

This usually works in SONAR.

Thanks, Space Boy. I will Try Convo Boy Lite
I DL'ed the latest v. 4.51 of the cake adapter and still have the same problem. The Debug I get is as follows:
An exception 'Unhandled Win32 Exception' occurred in SONARPDR.EXE
Is this file like that AUD.INI that you're supposed to find an delete or Sonar won't work right?

Latest update:

Convo Boy Lite does work(thanks Space Boy!). SIR works now, too. The latency on both those plugs is kinda high so maybe that's it. Convolver just crashes Sonar right away. The GUI dosen't even come up. That's enough for one night, I'm going to bed. Will check for more feedback in the A.M.

No. Thats the Sonar program. Delete that and you have no Sonar.

Doesn't Sonar 6 have a (much better) IR plugin that comes with it anyway?

Yeah, a 2-channel version of the Voxengo Pristine Space reverb.
